Dr. Vie Superfoods athletes finish the Canadian National Track Cycling Championships 2010 with podiums. Andreas Ihm (Montreal) Gold Masters AB. Keirin is an interesting race behind a motor bike. This event is controlled in Canada but has more dare devil conditions in Japan! Andreas starts slow but finishes fast! Watch out for the red and white as it flies by! Track Cycling is now an Olympic Sport;
Our girls win again - two time World Champion Tara Whitten rides with her Team Pursuit World Cup winners Laura Brown (Dr. Vie Superfoods athlete) and Stefanie Roorda and win the Canadian National Championships for track cycling - Team Pursuit 25 August 2010. Tara Whitten is the first Canadian to be a World Champion since 1993. What a day for these girls. Scheduled to start at 10:00, delayed 3 times because of the rain. Laura Brown (World Cup winner) from Vancouver, BC, Canada started off as a gymnast in Edmonton, Alberta. She progressed to the Junior National Team. Laura has won her first World Cup and bronze medals (China & Columbia) in track cycling in 2010 on the Senior Canadian National Team on the B2-10 program. She competes at the Canadian National level on team track pursuits (3 riders, inside track, 3 km at the fastest speed possible) around the globe including China, Columbia, Denmark and more. Laura also competes in road cycling through the Total Restoration Cycling Team (sponsored by Dr. Vie Superfoods) out of BC. Hear her story and tips for children health. Winning several podiums and basking in #1 position until July 2010, then achieving #2 position as a Team in the USA in 2010. Alison Powers is ranked #2 as an individual rider in the USA in 2010.
