“For 2010, Shaun Taylor will be training and riding with Dr Vie. Superfoods. Shaun was looking for a high quality and convenient raw superfood supplement and discovered Dr. Vie’s line of Sport nutrition based bars. Training for long hours requires a solid nutritional foundation and Shaun trains hard. Currently he is the 2009 24hr Solo Mountain Bike World Champion in his age category and he will be flying to Australia in October to defend his 2010 title against a very aggressive and motivated field. This will be Shaun’s fourth 24hr Solo World Championship and along the way he has learned the importance of nutrient dense, high quality food and that’s why Dr. Vie will be a part of Shaun’s nutritional plan.
While training his way towards Worlds, Shaun will also be racing in the BC Bike Race; he had so much fun doing it last year that he wanted to do it again. BCBR is a 7 consecutive day mountain bike stage race which covers epic days of racing on some of BC’s hardest singletrack. Generally the BCBR race days are shorter than Shaun prefers so for good measure he will be throwing in another 24hr Solo race (or two) into the mix during the summer, along with some 6, 8 and 12hr races. All of his racing and training is focused towards his main priority which is to represent Canada in October at Worlds.
If he’s not on the bike, Shaun stays busy with his coaching business www.ForwardMomentumCoaching.com and he stays even busier looking after his two young boys ages 4 and 6.
Vera Bradley Team of women cyclists take on Dr. Vie Sports. The women hail from Canada, USA, South Africa, Israel, Australia and New Zealand.

Laura Brown finished the World Cup off with a Gold Medal in the Team Pursuit! The 3 women team had the fastest time in the qualifiers and won the final against USA.

Marc Becker was renowned in the IronMan triathlon community for his sports accomplishments. In recent years he became known for his unique training program "The Method" which is used by athletes around the globe. He was a regular contributor to numerous triathlon sports magazines.
